Interim Council
The party is being established. An interim council leads until all seven seats are filled by proper election.
The party is still being established. Until all seven council seats have been filled through a proper election, an interim council is leading the party.
The interim council holds the same responsibilities as a full council and is bound by exactly the same rules: the same transparency, the same accountability, the same prohibition on profiting from power. It exists for one purpose only: to get the party off the ground, build its foundations, and bring it to the point where proper elections can be held.
The interim council is a starting point, not a power structure. The moment all seven seats can be filled through a fair election, full elections take over and the interim arrangement ends. No one is meant to hold an interim seat as a way of holding power, only as a way of building something that will, very soon, belong to its members.
Same rules, from day one
The interim council is not exempt from the Council Rules written into the constitution. The full accountability structure: transparency, the ban on personal profit, the right of members to challenge decisions, applies immediately, not only once elections begin.
